Work progress
1. Brainstorming
2. Topic analysis
Focused on a word 'waiting' for a topic analysis and approached in two ways.

(1) The below mind map is to get a feeling and understanding of waiting in general.

(2) The below mind map is to focus on a feeling of waiting for a Godot.
3. Mood board
The images with a face are having no facial expression, which I figured that they represent hopelessness and purposelessness.
4. Rough sketches
5. Detailed sketches
After rough sketches, the below three images were selected.

6. Digital development
in Adobe Photoshop and illustrator
The seated figure and dropping legs were digitally painted. A body with a dropping arm and dropping legs shows how tiring and hopeless the waiting is, but at the same time, I didn't want it to be too dark as the story isn't too heavy. In order to do that, I used a white color for the title so it pops up in the dark background and created the wavy text.
